Holiday Decorating Contest Submissions Begin
Friday, December 1st, 2023, All Day Event
 
It's time to get festive, Steele Creek! Submit a photo of the exterior of your home decked out for the Holidays along with your name and address to myanez@ccmcnet.com for the chance to win a prize sponsored by Avalanche Cleaning and More! Prizes will be given out for the Most Festive and Most Creative homes.
CONTEST RULES
  • Submissions will be accepted from December 1st - December 15th.
  • Voting will take place from December 16th - December 26th.
  • You can still vote if you’ve entered the contest, but you CANNOT vote for yourself (we will check). 
  • By entering, you consent to have the photo of your home & address shared on our voting form, your home mapped on our holiday light trail map (to be shared with residents only), and the photo of your home shared in newsletter and on our social media.
  • All decorations MUST be taken down by January 25th.
  • Winners will be announced on December 29th. 
Cookie Decorating Workshop: Elf
Friday, December 8th, 2023, 6:30pm to 8pm at Community Room

Join us on Friday, December 8th at 6:30 P.M. to decorate Buddy the Elf's FAVORITE Cookies! Learn with easy professional, step by step instruction to transform your cookies into beautifully handcrafted works of art.
 
During the workshop we will practice basic piping techniques, learn the difference in royal icing consistency, how to achieve the outline and flooding methods, as well as, different techniques, tips, & tricks to use the next time on your cookies at home.   
 
This is a 5+ workshop and all levels of experience are welcome; we have beginners to advance students in every class! 
 
This event is $10 per resident, and tickets can be purchased directly through Emerald Whisk. 
 
Included:
  • 1.5 hour of professional instruction.
  • 4 pre-baked Cookies.
  • All the frosting, supplies, and tools needed.
  • Door Prize.
  • Goodie for each attendee. 
   Additionally:
  • Classes are for all ages 5+, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
  • Each attendee must purchase their own cookie set, no sharing.
  • Due to the nature of these classes and preparation involved, NO Refunds are available unless given a 72-hour notice. 
Letters to Santa Kit Pickup ENDS

We're bringing a little extra magic to Steele Creek with letters to Santa kits available for pickup in the HOA office!
The last day to pick up a letter kit or drop off a letter in the HOA Office will be December 15th. Once your letter is complete, drop it off in our special North Pole mailbox and we'll have it sent directly to the North Pole!

Jingle & Mingle Holiday Party

Dust off those cheesy Holiday sweaters and get ready for our annual Jingle & Mingle Holiday Party taking place on December 16th from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. with La Antigua Bar, a s'mores station, and photos with The Grinch!
 
Make sure to come dressed to impress for our "Ugly Sweater" Contest. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The contest will be judged at 7:30 P.M.
 
Vero Wood Fired Pizza will be out serving food for resident purchase!
Holiday Hope Food Drive ENDS
Monday, December 18th, 2023, All Day Event at HOA Office
 
The last day to donate non-perishable food items benefiting New Braunfels Food Bank or pet food benefiting Daisy Cares is December 18th.
